Summit Cottage has a high quality, well-appointed kitchen/diner with everything you will need and more. It is a wonderful sociable space that flows into the bright living room. Spend cosy evenings on the large leather sofas adorned with soft woollen and tweed furnishings, in the glow and warmth of the stylish wall fire and atmospheric lighting. Entertainment for all ages is here with Smart TV (with Freeview and DVD player), wide range of board games, children’s toys and an extensive book and DVD collection.
The perfect night’s sleep
You deserve to sleep well and wonderfully on your holiday. Beds at Summit Cottage have luxurious mattresses, fine crisp white cotton sheets and covers and highest quality *down & feather bedding for ultimate comfort. There are three bedrooms, sleeping six: one king bedroom with en-suite shower room, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, all on the ground floor. All rooms are made up with bedding, fluffy white towels, and extra blankets. The family bathroom is a lovely calm oasis in which to unwind after a busy day in Oban.
*Mirco-fibre duvet and pillows are also supplied.
Tranquil surroundings
The lovely enclosed garden is a vision of colourful flowerbeds and character. With distinctive areas of herb beds, shrubs and bright flowering borders, much wildlife abounds. Many birds (including blue tits, great tits, cole tits, wagtails and the unusual firecrest) are commonplace, not to mention red squirrels. Take advantage of the ‘Viewpoint’ outside the front gates; sit with your morning coffee whilst watching the ever-changing seascape out to Mull and see boats come and go in the bay. In the evening dine al-fresco at Summit Cottage’s outdoor table and seating area, overlooking Ben Cruachan. You might even have some fresh catch for the BBQ!
